Europe is home to some of the worlds premier skiing destinations, whether it is your first time going on a ski holiday or you are at more of an intermediate/advanced level you are sure to have a great time both on the slopes and in the bars afterwards during your ‘Apres Ski’ session. There are many countries in Europe that offer great skiing holidays from Mont Blanc and the other huge mountains in the Alps to the relatively cheap  and vibrant Pyranese mountains in Andorra. You can take your pick from France, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Austria and Andorra to find a fantastic skiing destination in Europe.

It is important to do your research before heading to a resort as you don’t want to be surprised by turning up to many of the well known resorts in Austria that cater to nightlife if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing break in the mountains in a chalet. On the other hand if you are a beginner or a student an not very confident you probably don’t want to go to Chamonix and take on Mont Blanc.

One of the main things skiers nowadays are bothered about is fashion, you will notice lots of bright coloured clothes when you arrive and stylish onesises bought especially for the bars and nightlife, if you are after some of your own personalised and stylish hoodies then visit Superlogo and view their great range. Other than your clothes remember when heading off on your holiday to book ski lift passes and equipment hire in advance as the availibity and rates will differ greatly upon arrival in the resort. If you are taking your own ski’s then ensure you check how much it will cost with the airline to send them before you go to the airport, even booking in advance the cost can be astronomical costing almost as much as a seat to send them.Untitled

One thing is for sure and that is you will enjoy a skiing holiday as much as any other you have been on in the past, you get sun, snow, an exhilirating and enjoyable activity to do during the day and then either a nice warm chalet or a good night out in the evening. One of the great things about a skiing holiday is that you can really customise it to suit your needs, there are so many resorts in so many countries that you can find exactly what you want and then go to a different place every year if you choose to do so.
